The aim is to create a housing typology with a unique character at the centrally located site in the city.
A contemporary infill with a new silhouette which turns its back to the nearby station area and opens up towards the market square with public spaces in the ground floor and apartments on three floors.
The apartments are divided into three stairwells. Each stairwell has three apartments per each floor. The bedrooms and the living rooms are oriented towards the silent side to shelter the apartments from the station area noise.
The ground floor is clad with grey stone and the apartment floors have a wooden facade to signal the difference in functions and to create a building that blends in to the surrounding neighbourhood.
