A new Archery Club House
Client: A Swedish municipality
Duration: Ongoing
Size: 445 m2
A new Club House for an Archery Club including a public entrance, kitchen, changing rooms and storage spaces. The L-shaped building opens up towards the entrance and parking area, creating a welcoming athmosphere for the visitors. The outdoor training areas are located on the southern side of the new building, offering a calming view towards the cultural landscape and the surrounding nature. The building is constructed in wood and the shielded entrance openings and the interiors enhance the impression with timber cladding. The whole building is clad in a long-lasting, low-maintenance reusable metal sheets with a deep "falu red" shade to adapt the exterior into the rural context.
