A small sheltered housing building for people with special needs. The building is located in a suburban context surrounded by a northern swedish birch forest. The building has a wooden construction and the facades are clad in a dark brown wooden panel with a touch of fibre cement board. The hip roof in silver frames the building with the chocolate brown facade. 6 apartments and shared spaces mimick a private row house typlogy to create a sense of ownership. Besides the private apartments, the program includes common spaces with a kitchen, a living room and office spaces for the staff. The private apartments have separate entrances and outdoor areas.
