A transformation of an old bakery building in Dalkarlsberg, Dalarna. A well preserved building at a historical site was transformed to a guest house by raising the roof to add a new floor above the existing. New lanternines bring in natural light to the acommodation spaces on the upper floor. The historical character of the property has been carefully preserved and the materials, proportions and detailing of the extension have been designed with a great precision to match the original design.
